Overview
Our client, a gym owner, had an existing desktop application,
but it was outdated in both design and performance. While the
core functionalities were in place, the system lacked
efficiency, and many processes were still being handled
manually. We upgraded the app by keeping all existing
functionalities, improving performance, and adding new
features to streamline gym operations.
Challenges

What we did
To modernize the system, we took a three-step approach. First,
we revamped the UI/UX, redesigning the app with a modern,
intuitive interface, making it easier and faster to navigate.
Second, we automated check-ins. Instead of logging arrival
times manually, we integrated check-in tracking into the
system, allowing staff to instantly see when a member enters
the gym. Third, we implemented digital membership management.
Membership details, renewals, and expirations are now fully
managed within the app, eliminating the need for physical
notebooks. Finally, we enhanced performance, optimizing data
retrieval speed to ensure member information loads instantly.

Future Plans
This was just the first step. We're now working with the
client on a mobile app for their personal trainers, which will
allow them to schedule client sessions, assign personalized
workouts, create diet plans and track progress, and work with
clients online – all within a dedicated mobile environment.
